Just before Christmas in Montrose on Sunday the 16th of December, Mo Cross, North East Scotlands inaugural Links Cross Event took place and brought an exciting and challenging new round to the Super Quaich Cyclocross Series, a cycling event which takes place in different locations in Scotland.
We were approached by a customer who was looking for a good way to transport Wargame Miniatures. There are various products on the market for transporting miniatures, but none quite suited their needs.
We were approached by Mearns Vintage Vehicle Club to manufacture a giant football which would be battered around a pitch by vintage tractors at the Fettercairn Show 2018. The old workhorses owned by members of Mearns Vintage Vehicle Club are regularly on show at the annual event and club chairman Mike Robertson said the idea was to serve up “something a bit different” in the main arena. We’re confident that we have created a football that will be a match for anything. Take a look at the match highlights here: hhttps://bit.ly/2NkCKKg

Breaking news! New Product Lines Launched. Two new styles have been added to our bag range!
Designed exclusively for Montrose Bag Company, the Iona Bloom takes influence from our Iona Shopper range. The Flora bag is smaller and comes with a reinforced PVC base for a slightly sturdier bag. Both styles are available in three floral colourways (with a choice of contrasting webbing/handles).
At just £24 + vat each, the Iona Bloom and the Flora are stylish multipurpose bags. Not only do these bags look good but they are made with the same skill an expertise as ALL Montrose Bag Company Bags and Rope & Sail products – meaning they are made to last.
Due to the current circumstances and uncertain challenging times, we have closed our manufacturing workshop at Montrose Rope and Sail ltd until further notice.

As our products are essentially made to order and all hand manufactured under our roof in Montrose, we have also closed our online shop until further notice.
We would like to thank our customers for their continued support and we will let you know when we are back up and running again.
